28,220 children started to be looked after in England during the year 1 April 2011 to 31 March 2012.

15,670 of these children started to be looked after because of abuse or neglect.

56% of the children who started to be looked after in England during the year 1 April 2011 to 31 March 2012 became looked after because of abuse or neglect.

We now need more people to join this group or to simply start asking our public servants for the proof that they are acting in the public's best interests. If the right people ask their friends to join this group they will & some of the best people won't need to be asked. All it takes to make real progress is a little bit of co-operation. The change will be how we use the Internet.
