Please see the response below to your FOI request dated 6th January 2013. I can confirm that the London Borough of Enfield does hold this information.

1. Please will you kindly tell me the name of the person who is in charge of your Local Safeguarding Children Board & provide me with their email address.

The Independent Chair of our Safeguarding Board is Geraldine Gavin: Geraldine.Gavin@enfield.gov.uk

The Business Manager of our Safeguarding Board is Alison Cutler: Alison.Cutler@enfield.gov.uk

2. Please will you kindly tell me who writes the child protection policies for your local authority?

Enfield uses the London Child Protection Procedures 4th Edition

These can be downloaded direct from the London Safeguarding Children Board website: http://www.londonscb.gov.uk/procedures/

They can also be found on the Enfield Safeguarding Children Board web site: http://www.enfieldlscb.org/

This web site also gives further details of the work of the board and local protocols.

Dear Mr Mortimer,

Please see the response below to your FOI request dated 28th December 2013. I can confirm that the London Borough of Enfield does not hold this information.

FOI REQUEST

Please will you kindly tell me what the

(a) gender and
(b) familial relationship was to the child victim of offenders in substantiated child abuse cases in the area which you have a duty to protect children from abuse for the last full year which figures are available, broken down by
(i) physical abuse,
(ii) emotional abuse,
(iii) sexual abuse and
(iv) cases of neglect.

FOI RESPONSE

Information regarding child abuse offenders would be held by the Police and not collated by the Local Authority. We are therefore unable to supply any information relating to this request.
